Vision — Who I'm Becoming

The portrait

I make small, finished games that a modest audience pays for, and I make them in public. Each year I ship two or three, none of them perfect, all of them played. My income is lumpy but real and mine — I answer to players, not a studio. My mornings are quiet and I work rested; I stopped treating exhaustion as proof of seriousness. People who follow my work know me as someone who ships, not someone with a great unreleased game in a drawer.

What has to be true

• I can take a game from idea to paid and shipped, repeatedly — not just to demo.
• I have a small audience that hears about a launch before it happens.
• I protect my health well enough to sustain the pace for years, not one sprint.

What I'm willing to trade

I'll trade prestige and the approval of people who confuse polish with quality. I'll trade the safety of a salary for the honesty of selling my own work. I will not trade my health or my name — no dark-pattern monetization, no crunch as a lifestyle.

What this is NOT

Not a studio with employees and a funding treadmill. Not a viral hit I chase by copying trends. Not "respected by people I don't respect." The borrowed version of this vision is "famous game dev"; the real one is "solvent, prolific, rested."
