One decision

Kept coding past midnight to fix a save-state bug instead of stopping at the usual cutoff, which meant skipping the Thursday run too. Two for two this week.

One friction

Sat with the fact that the tutorial teaches a 20-second mechanic in four minutes, and I've known that for a week without touching it. It's not hard to fix, it's just not what I feel like doing before Friday's playtest.

One surprise

Reread Tuesday's message from the meetup regular and realized what they're excited about is the trailer, not the demo: the demo doesn't exist yet in a form a stranger could download. Sobering to notice the gap between what's been shown and what's actually shippable.

Cut the tutorial's second room before Friday, not after. It teaches nothing room one doesn't already cover.
