One decision

Skipped the Tuesday run to put another hour into the store page copy before Friday's playtest. Told myself it was one week; it's the second week in a row I've made that trade on a Tuesday.

One friction

The store page hook line still reads flat after four rewrites. I started comparing it to other games in the storefront's "coming soon" queue, which made it worse, not better: I was writing for other developers, not for a player deciding whether to wishlist.

One surprise

Someone from the dev-meetup Discord messaged unprompted asking when the demo drops, off a two-week-old post I'd half forgotten I made. I didn't know anyone outside the regular Friday group was actually tracking this.

Stop rewriting the hook line alone. Read three drafts out loud to somebody before touching it again.
